Where to stay

For appropriate accommodation in Cluj-Napoca, please consult the Symposium - Accommodation menu or go to the Cluj4all website.

Local transport in Cluj-Napoca

The city’s public transport is assured by the local public transport company, RATUC, running along 342 km of transport network, using trams, buses and trolleybuses.

You can buy a ticket for one week for all lines (approx. 13 lei) or use simple tickets (3 lei) for two journeys. After you have entered the bus, you must clip your ticket immediately, because of the regular presence of controllers. Avoid fully loaded buses.

You can also commute with the help of local taxi companies. Use only Diesel, Terra-Fan, Pritax, Nova and Rapid taxies. Avoid taxi drivers who directly approach you when you arrive, and offer their services, because they will also take you to your destination, but at a 4x price.

Mileage (average): 1,3 lei/km (approx. 0,4 €)
