XIth European Bat Research Symposium

Gastronomical evening

The opening night (17th of August) will include a gastronomical evening, to which all participants are invited. You will taste and experience the traditional foods and beverages from the Transylvanian region. Also, everyone is greatly encouraged to bring along their traditional specialties from their native region, to make the evening a colorful start of the symposium.

Banquet

The symposium banquet (the night of the 21st of August) will be held in the Chios Restaurant, in the heart of Cluj-Napoca. The location’s surroundings regularly hosted the local edition of the European Bat Night. Consequently, if you bring your detector with you, you will hear plenty of bats :)

Symposium Trips

Participants will have the opportunity to select from three options. These options will cover a large variety of cultural and natural aspects about Transylvania. The price of trips is included in the registration fee.
