17th August: official opening, gastronomical evening
18th August: presentations
19th August: presentations, poster section
20th August: symposium trips
21st August: presentations, symposium banquet
22nd August: official closing ceremony

Registration Fee

Registration fee for regular participants includes: symposium package, admittance to all scientific sessions, volume of abstracts, coffee breaks and symposium trips.
Registration fee for accompanying persons includes: admittance to all scientific sessions, coffee breaks and symposium trips.

Registration costs will be returned and registrations cancelled, if requests are withdrawn untill July 20th 2008.

Abstract submission

You will be able to upload your abstract(s) during the registration procedure.
Abstracts of oral papers and/or posters should be written in English and submitted on-line by June 30th, the latest. Abstracts should not have more than twenty lines of text (Times New Roman 11), excluding the title, and names and addresses of the authors. The title should be in bold upper case and clearly indicating the nature of the investigation. Below, authors names should also be in upper case, full first name and initials preceding the family name (surname), followed by the institutional affiliation in italics. Authors are requested to proof read their text carefully. You can download an abstract-model (Word Document), as well as instructions (Pdf Document) about abstract and poster construction
Poster construction should use a vertical layout, with a standard size of 700x1000mm.

The time for each presentation is 15 minutes plus five minutes for discussion. Facilities will be provided for PowerPoint. Additional information regarding both the oral and poster contributions will be posted to those making these presentations. The Scientific Committee can decide that oral papers should be presented as posters.

In order to facilitate the participation of students/young researchers from non-EU countries, we opened the possibility to contribute to their registration costs. If you wish to contribute to their presence, you can do so during the registration process. Thank you.

Scholarship possibility

Students and young researchers from non-EU countries may apply for a scholarship to attend the XIth EBRS, the scholarship covering fully or partially the costs of the symposium. Participants who wish to apply for such a scholarship can do so during the registration procedure. You will be asked to provide the name and contact address of your scientific supervisor as well as a short (max. 300 words) argumentation, in form of an attached Word document. Also, you will be asked to choose which part of the symposium costs you want to be financed through this scholarship (registration fee, accommodation and/or lunch).
